Setting Up The Instructional Widgets – #38 Creating A Survival Horror (Unreal Engine 4)

This is episode 38 of our series going over how we can create a survival horror game using Unreal Engine 4 from scratch. We’ll be going over how to create various mechanics built around the game.

Today we’ll start to set up a series of instructional popups showing the player the relevant controls and what they mean. We’ll go over the below aspects.

Having said that we:
– Import the UI graphics from our HUD
– Set up anchor points and pinning
– Set up preliminary script to have it display at the start of the game.
